Advanced chips can now handle DSP
Digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, especially those needed for our Digital Power Station™, require a large number of mathematical operations to be performed on a set of data. Signals must be converted from analog to digital, manipulated digitally, and then converted again to analog form very rapidly. Until recently, this kind of processing required larger processors to work. However, recent advancement in chip technology has enabled powerful DSP operations to be performed effectively on a single chip.
