You may notice a volume difference when the Digital Power Station™ is not engaged. This radio is custom tuned to maximize the performance of your car’s audio system with the processor engaged. The volume difference is a result of the custom profile that is specifically calibrated for a vehicles interior and is necessary to optimize your system’s performance while the Digital Power Station™ signal processor is engaged. Our powerful processor scans, recognizes and reproduces multiple types of delivery systems ( CD’s, MP3 files, vinyl transfers, AM radio, FM radio, satellite radio, WMA files) with full studio quality sound and without annoying volume changes between signal sources. If we were back in the 1960’s, where the predominant music delivery system was the vinyl record only, you would not hear such a volume difference.
